Yönetim Bilişim Sistemleri (YBS), teknolojik yeniliklerin hız kazandığı günümüzde bilgi teknolojileri ve yönetim bilimlerinin kesişiminde stratejik bir konuma ulaşmıştır. Bu kapsamda, Niğde Ömer Halisdemir Üniversitesi ev sahipliğinde Yönetim Bilişim Sistemleri Derneği tarafından düzenlenen 1. Çalıştay, alanın mevcut durumunu değerlendirmek ve eğitimde kalite, akreditasyon ve müfredat standartlarını belirlemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. “YBS Eğitiminde Güncel Trendler, Akreditasyon ve Kalite Standartları” temasıyla düzenlenen etkinlikte; uluslararası müfredat modelleri (IS2020), akreditasyon çerçeveleri (FEDEK, ABET vb.) ve paydaş beklentileri gibi kritik konular ele alınmıştır. Üniversite, kamu ve özel sektör temsilcilerinin katılımıyla şekillenen bu rapor, çalıştayda sunulan görüş ve önerileri sistematik bir şekilde özetleyerek gelecekteki eğitim politikaları ve ulusal standartlar için yol gösterici bir kaynak olmayı hedeflemektedir.
